Different beaches within easy reach
The municipality of Orihuela has around sixteen kilometres of coastline. Well-known locations include La Zenia, Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig and Campoamor. Rather than one continuous beach, the coast offers a varied mix of sand, rocks, promenades and smaller coves.
La Zenia is a popular choice for a traditional beach day. Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima combine the beach with coastal walks. Cabo Roig has sheltered coves and a coastal path, while Campoamor is well suited to a longer day beside the sea.
Casa de Cinta is around five kilometres from the Mediterranean. A car is the easiest way to carry towels, a parasol and beach equipment and to explore several beaches during one holiday. In busy periods, check parking and access before setting off.
Sea conditions and facilities can change by day and season. Follow beach flags and lifeguard advice, use adequate sun protection and do not leave valuables unattended. The municipality's official website provides information for each beach.
